Cheryl Farrell has been singing and writing messages
of hope for more than four decades. Her mission is to share her musical and literary gifts on behalf
of social and health causes. One special cause to help find for a cure to diabetes. Cheryl writes about families facing the challenges of living with type 1 diabetes. Cheryl's
son and millions of others benefit from research to find a cure.

to describe the work of managing blood sugar levels--particularly difficult for young people who live with the disease. As
a singer, Cheryl recorded the ballad, "Promise To Remember
Me," written by award-winning composers for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF)*. The lyrics are a powerful
call from child advocates to lawmakers to understand struggles of children who live with type 1 diabetes. They ask: "promise
to remember me" when appropriating funds for diabetes research. Proceeds from the
