The lyrics to “Promise” are a powerful call from child advocates to lawmakers to understand struggles of children who live with type 1 diabetes. "Promise to remember me" when appropriating funds for diabetes research. Cheryl's teenage son and children like him benefit from research to find a cure.

Cheryl Farrell has been singing for "many moons." She’s proud to share musical messages of hope, especially for diabetes research. Her mission is to help find for a cure for diabetes. As a spokesperson, she meets with groups to describe the work of managing blood sugar levels--particularly difficult for young people who live with the disease.
