"Where Were You?"
(When I Needed
You The Most)
[Contemporary]
Many times we search for what is already with us. This
irony applies to a set of missing keys, the courage to start a business, or reassurance from a friend. We look, but we don’t
see what’s right in front of us.
This inspired me to write the song, Where
Were You? Hear the singer’s lament in the music clip. Distracted by events, especially a crisis, she overlooks
help that is already available. She finds comfort in the most unsuspecting place. There's help from
a steadfast source of love—loyalty that never falters—come rain or shine.

Where Were You?
We were so right together,
you knew
what I would say
Our lives were one in each other,
we talked
most ev'ry day
Good times we could tell,
were surely coming true...
