"Jesus Loves the Little Children"
"Jesus Loves Me"
[Children's Songs/Christian
Hymns]
Experts on emotional well-being assert that one's sense of self derives from childhood experiences of love. Without
any control over selecting our parents, it would appear that personal joy is tied to random chance. I believe otherwise. Through no effort or luck on our part, God’s
unconditional love supersedes any and all childhood circumstances.
Two children's songs support my belief: Jesus Loves Me and Jesus Loves the
Little Children. Both have infectious melodies that can be recalled at a moment’s notice. It was an honor to sing these songs
to my children when they were young. (Although they are much older now, I can still sneak in a verse or two to them!) It’s
the circle of life.
May you also be inspired to sing a song of love to a child. Sing through your work as a parent, teacher,
counselor, or friend. Let the children know that God loves them perfectly.

All the children of the world…

For the Bible tells me so…
